Our four children had the pleasure of attending Oxford Community Preschool from the age of two until the start of Kindergarten; spanning a total of eight years. We were thrilled with the quality of the education and personalized care for our children at the preschool. OCP offers an excellent education in small classes, individual attention to the needs of our children, and opportunities to try new things in a comforting environment. The preschool is a welcoming community of teachers, staff and parents who believe in the school’s mission and Christian values. The educational curriculum is hands on and challenges the children to reach their full potential. After attending OCP our children were well prepared socially and academically for Kindergarten. The parents and child are respected and valued; working together with the teachers for the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development of the child. Everyone knew our children by name and we felt a true sense of community within the preschool. Our children were very fortunate to have such a warm and inviting learning environment.

OCP has provided wonderful experiences and rich education for our little ones. As our son heads into kindergarten, we are confident that he is well prepared and we are happy for our daughter to continue through the OCP programs. OCP is not the closest school for us, however after researching many other programs that are much closer, we will continue to make the commute to OCP. I have recommended OCP preschool to many of my friends and will continue to do so. The teachers, the curriculum, the atmosphere, the smiles… highly recommend!

OCP is a wonderful preschool. We have 4 children and so far, 3 have gone to Pre-K at OCP. Oxford Community Preschool was more than just a preschool for our daughters, it was an extended part of their family. We love the atmosphere at this school! Having moved to the area two years ago, we wanted to find a preschool that would make transitioning a bit easier. We couldn’t have asked for a more nurturing, welcoming, community-oriented preschool! Our preschooler can be a bit shy at first with new people, but he warmed up quickly with the wonderful teachers at Oxford Community Preschool. His preschool teacher worked closely with us on his education to help him with kindergarten readiness. Due to the teacher’s experience and attention to my child’s needs, a potential learning disability was recognized. We were then given the tools and referrals we needed to make sure our child was ready for kindergarten in the fall. We are thrilled that we chose OCP!”

We could not be happier with the staff and education at Oxford Community Preschool. This has been our first experience with a school setting for our first child and can only hope the rest of her school years are as positive as this experience in Pre K. All the teachers know your child by name, no matter what class they are in; they know your name and welcome you with a smile always. The patience they exhibit is amazing. The fact that they even greet you at your car to get your child is beyond expectations and so incredibly helpful! I’m excited that the rest of our children will begin their school experiences on such a high note when they start at OCP.

"Really felt like part of a family at OCP..."
Our son attended OCP for 2 years (nursery and Pre-K) and we could not have been happier with his experience! He was very well-prepared for Kindergarten and is excelling in math and reading. He really enjoys school and we’re certain that the positive experience he had at OCP is one of the main reasons why. OCP and the wonderful teachers there provided him with the tools he needed both socially and academically. One of his (and our) favorite aspects of OCP’s curriculum were the Faith-Based Friday classes. We loved that he was learning about God, Jesus, friendship, respect, forgiveness, kindness and many more concepts in a way that truly resonated with his young mind (and heart). We really felt like part of a family at OCP and still feel that way when we see OCP teachers and parents out and about. My family and I are very satisfied with Oxford Community Preschool. My daughter attended to this preschool and my son is on his second year. When they started school they both only spoke Spanish. When my daughter started Kindergarten she was 100% bilingual and my son is following the same steps. It is just amazing how much they can learn in only two hours thanks to all the OCP staff/teachers who give to all the students that patience, love, and support to encourage them to keep learning and love learning.

They say a smile is contagious, and that is why I picked the OCP as my kids Preschool. As a stay at home mom, I never thought I would send them to school at the age of 2, but after walking through this preschool I quickly realized how much I loved this school, and how being around the group of teachers would be beneficial to my kids. Every single teacher has a smile on her face. I truly believe every teacher there loves my kids as I do and I trust them completely with my children. This is coming from someone that uses only family for babysitters. The school hits all aspects of what I want my kids to be around; The hours are perfect, the lesson plans are great, and the amount of fun and playtime is perfect as well. I actually cried last year when my daughter graduated TOTS and would be changing teachers, but now I feel the same way this year with this years teachers, and cannot believe how I have found the most thoughtful, loving, caring teachers all in one place.
